Volunteer Opportunities

We will be distributing Thanksgiving baskets on Sunday, November 22, 2008 at the First United Methodist Church of Mesquite between 2 PM & 4 PM. We will need volunteers to assist us on Saturday and Sunday, 11/21 - 11/22. We will need help on Saturday starting at 10am. If your church is putting together complete baskets you may drop them off on Sunday after church at First United Methodist of Mesquite. I will be there to accept donations beginning at 11 AM. If you are collecting items for the baskets you may drop them off at Sharing Life during that week and we will create the baskets. If possible, we need to know how many baskets you are planning to complete or send a financial gift to cover by November 13, 2008.

Holiday Faire Volunteer Opportunities:

Dec. 16 - 18 Set-up Holiday Faire @ Eastridge Park Christian Church. Gifts can be dropped off 9am - 4pm

Dec. 19 Holiday Faire @ Eastridge Park Christian Church, 10am to 3pm
We need volunteers to make our Holiday Programs successful.

Six Flags Volunteers

In cooperation with Six Flags over Texas, Sharing Life volunteers can earn some much needed cash for the organization by giving a few hours of their time to the park. In exchange for your time, Six Flags will pay Sharing Life $6.25 an hour and give you a one day pass to use anytime you're ready! This deal is a winner for everyone.

Food Pantry Workers, Clothing Distributors, Clerical/Data Entry, Computer Class Instructors, ESL Instructors, Fundraisers/Grant Writers, Janitorial, and Donation Collectors
